Metro Man Set To Join BJP

The BJP got a much-needed shot in the arm when hugely popular and widely admired Metro Man E Sreedharan has announced that he would join the BJP. What more, the 88-year-old has also expressed his readiness to fight the election if the party so decides.
Sreedharan, who was credited with changing the face of the public transport in India by bringing in the Metro Rail Project, will join the BJP during the fortnight long Viaya Yatra of the BJP, which will end at Tiruvananthapuram. The old man packed power in his punch when he said that he was joining the BJP to fight the Left Front misrule in the state. He said the Left Front has failed on all fronts and that it has never kept the people at the centre of its policies.
Sridharan is known as the Metro Man and has completed the Delhi Metro Rail project ahead of the deadline and within the financial resources provided. He is known for his dedication to the work and is touted as one of the best technocrats that the country has produced after Mokshagundam Visweswaraya.
