Mild-mannered minister Perni Nani flies into rage over police overaction

First it was minister Seediri Appala Raju and now it is the turn of minister Perni Nani. Like Appala Raju fired against the cops over protocol and VIP Security issue during CM YS Jagan's visit to Vizag. On Friday, it was the turn of otherwise soft-talking and mild-mannered minister Perni Nani to fly into rage.
The reason? The police did not allow the minister's vehicle to be parked as it would obstruct the vehicles of the top police bosses.
The incident occurred in Polavaram where both Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and AP CM YS Jagan were inspecting the relief and rehabilitation works. The security arrangements were so tight that even YSRCP MLAs and ZPTCs were not allowed to attend the programme.
The police wanted the minister to remove his vehicle as the parking place was ear-marked for the top officials of the police department.
An enraged Nani sought to know what is the protocol hierarchy of the police officials. He said the minister was several notches above the police official and they have no business to ask his vehicle to be removed.
Nani's anger surprised even his supporters and colleagues. Perni Nani is known to be quite friendly and jovial. He has rarely been seen in an angry mood. Several officials and party colleagues pacified him.
It was only after that the minister came back to the normal mood. The police bandobust is turning out to be a huge problem for even the VVIPs in AP these days.
