Army Man attempts to Rape a Minor in HYD

An Army Man with designation 'Lance Naik' [ranking below naik (military rank)] was arrested for attempting to rape a minor girl at the defence personnel residential area in Trimulgherry.
Suresh, the accused. is offering his services in the Infantry division of the Indian Army in Secunderabad. On Saturday night at around 10.30 pm, He spotted a girl walking on the road at the residential area of defence personnel and called her. Soon after she approached him, The 32-Year-Old groped her and tried to rape her by dragging her into a nearby bushes. The girl resisted and screamed for help for sometime. It was then few army personnel took notice of it and the accused fled from the spot.
The Girl's Mother filed a complaint with Trimulgherry Police. A case was registered under Nirbhaya and POCSO Act.
Currently, Army Officials are conducting an enquiry into the incident. The accused will be handed over to the local police soon.
