MIM proposal: Rayala Telangana with 4 R-districts

MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi met Sonia Gandhi to discuss on the Telangana issue and suggested the Congress leadership to consider his party new proposal.
Firstly, Owaisi expressed that MIM is against bifurcation of the state. Second, He asked Centre to prefer Rayala Telangana comprising 10 districts of Telangana and 4 districts of Rayalseema if the Centre's decision on bifurcation of state is irreversible.
Asaduddin Owaisi ruled out the chances of MIM accepting the proposal of declaring Hyderabad as Union Territory. He, however, refused to share any of the details of his meeting with Sonia Gandhi directly with the media.
Why MIM decided to move from Rayala Telangana with two Rayalseema districts to Rayala Telangana with four Rayalseema districts? Is this an attempt to increase the vote share in Telangana region or a ploy to counter its rival BJP?
