Minister Gives Details Construction Work of Ambedkar Statue!

As a bid to honour the Father of the Indian Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Telangana government had come up with a decision to set up a 125-feet-tall statue of the great scholar. The statue is being built in an area spreading over 10 acres at NRT Gardens.
Social welfare minister Koppula Eshwar spoke to the media earlier today to provide details on the construction work at the site. The Minister had expressed his satisfaction over the pace at which the works are going on.
Dubbing the statue as the biggest statue of Ambedkar in the country, the Minister said that the works are being done at a good pace and the work will be finished soon. He said that the Bronze statue is being built and other works are also being done at the site.
Koppula Eshwar went on to say that, besides the statue, a big museum would also be built in the area and work is underway for the same. Giving a reason for the delay in building the statue, the Minister said that a few changes were made to the previous design and that's why it is taking time.
