The alleged land grabbing allegations against ruling TRS leader and Telangana Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy and his son Bhadra Reddy has created a sensation across the state.

The police booked the father-son duo for an alleged land grab after a woman who goes by the name Ponnaboina Shyamala Devi alleged that the duo grabbed land which belongs to her.

Now Malla Bhadra Reddy, who gave an interview to a leading regional News Channel rubbished all the allegations against them and said they don’t even know the woman who alleged the land grabbing.

Bhadra Reddy claimed that they are purposefully grabbed into the alleged land grabbing controversy and wondered why such allegations were made against them.

Looking at the alleged land grabbing issue, the complainant Shyamala Devi alleged that Malla Reddy and others have grabbed a piece of land that belongs to her family and trying to take more land in Suraram Village.

As the 2.13 acres of land lies between the two hospitals that are owned by Malla Reddy, they are trying to threaten her to give the lands to them, media reports claimed.

It is also believed that the lady knocked on the doors of the Telangana High Court and filed a writ petition to seek directives from the court to reopen the case which was closed.

Following which the police took up the case. Malla Reddy and his son were booked under IPC (Indian Penal Code) Section 447 (criminal trespass) and 506 (criminal intimidation), reports claimed.
