New Governor For AP: Will SS Get The Chance?

ESL Narasimhan has been serving as the joint governor for Telugu States ever since the bifurcation. Though Hyderabad remains Joint Capital until 2024, AP Government shifted to the new capital Amaravati after the cash-for-vote scandal. Union Government seems to have finally decided to appoint a new Governor for Andhra Pradesh due to the healthy relations between the CMs of the Telugu States after 2019 Elections.
If the sources are to be believed, Former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj could be nominated as AP Governor.
Sushma Swaraj refrained from contesting in 2019 Elections due to health issues. She wasn't inducted into the cabinet by PM Narendra Modi in the second term.
Bifurcation of AP happened when Sushma Swaraj was serving as the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. Jagan maintained good relations with Sushma ever since he served as Kadapa MP. So, The Senior Leader could be a good coordinator between the State and Central Governments.
