Minister says IT Raids out of his domain when asked to help by Badminton Player

The Income Tax department sleuths carried out raids at residences and offices of Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu, and others which had shocked the industry.
As a sudden development in IT-Raids row, gold medalist Badminton player and rumored boyfriend of Taapsee Pannu Mathias Boe requested Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to do something with the raids.
In the tweet, the gold medalist player said he is representing India as a coach for athletes for the first time, and IT Raids on Tapsee's residence is putting unnecessary stress on her family and urged the Minister to intervene.
'Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing ð®ð³ for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile I-T department is raiding Taapsee's houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. ð¤·ââï¸. @KirenRijiju please do something,' Mathias tweet reads.
Minister of State of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India Kiren Rijiju replied to the Badminton player's tweet in which he was tagged.
In the reply tweet, the Minister maintained that the Law of the land is supreme and everyone should abide by the law. He said the is out of his domain and beyond the Badminton player. In the best interest of Indian Sports, we must stick to our professional duties, he added.
'Law of the land is supreme and we must abide by that. The subject matter is beyond yours and my domain. We must stick to our professional duties in the best interest of Indian Sports,' he tweeted.
On the other hand, Shiv Sena, NCP, and left ideology media outlets have slammed the raids and called the arrests a move to silence the voices raised against the Central government.
