Minister Trolled On Twitter For 100% Tweet

Union Minister Piyush Goel proudly claimed India achieved 100 percent electrification under the leadership of Narendra Modi by sharing two satellite images of India shot at night on his Twitter handle. 'Under the decisive leadership of PM @NarendraModi India has finally been able to electrify all its villages before the set target date. With the elimination of darkness from the lives of fellow Indian villagers, we commit ourselves to building a new and #PowerfulIndia,' he wrote.
Little did the Union Minister expect the trolls to target him. The images shared by Piyush Goel are those released by US Space Agency. They, however, are no way related to the electrification of Leisang Village in Manipur on Saturday. While the first picture was release in 2012, The second one was released by NASA in 2017 and they actually shown the patterns of human settlement.
Netizens mocked BJP saying it's relying heavily on photoshop and fake news. Some of them opined these fake images surface every year after Diwali.
