Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao Tests Positive For COVID-19

The deadly coronavirus is ringing danger bells in Andhra Pradesh with coronavirus cases getting close to 7 lakh. The virus has already infected tens of public representatives in the state.
Now, Endowments minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao has fell prey for the infection. Vellampalli recently participated in TTD Brahmotsavam for a week and officials asked the whoever accompanied the Minister to get their COVID-19 test done. Currently, Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus cases in AP have crossed 6,75,674 with 5,708 casualties. On a positive side, as many as 6,02,195 people recovered from the virus. Now, the active cases stand at 64,876. As of Sunday, 56,00,202 covid tests were conducted in the state.
