Ministers want Sasikala to replace Panneerselvam

O Panneerselvam was unanimously elected as Legislative Party Leader by AIADMK MLAs soon after the demise of J Jayalalithaa on December 5th. Within hours, Panneerselvam was sworn-in as the CM of Tamil Nadu.
However, Political equations began changing very soon in the past one month. Jayalalithaa's close confidante Sasikala Natarajan was appointed as party's General Secretary and she took over the reins on Saturday. Now, AIADMK Ministers bring the proposal of Sasikala's elevation as CM of Tamil Nadu.
Revenue Minister RB Uthayakumar, Information & Publicity Minister Kadambur Raju and Endowments Minister Sevvoor S Ramachandran came up with the demand that since party's inception posts of AIADMK General Secretary & Chief Minister were held by only one person. They claimed Sasikala is likely to replace O Panneerselvam very soon.
