Mission Expansion: AAP Aggressively pushing One Chance slogan

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is aggressively making plans to increase its footprint in other states besides the national capital Delhi. It had tasted big success in recent Punjab elections by dethroning the grand old party Congress. AAP now has two states in hand and wants to take the court further.

As part of its mission expansion, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had started focusing on Himachal Pradesh which is ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party. As the tenure is about to end, the northeast Indian state will face the general elections in a few months.

Seeing this, the AAP leaders had flown to Himachal Pradesh and held a massive roadshow in the state. AAP is focusing on two things-one is asking for a chance from the voters for the party and the second one is to root out the practice of corruption.

Be it Punjab, Gujarat, or Himachal Pradesh, AAP has been highlighting the two points to get votes. While the BJP is aggressively increasing its footprints in other states, AAP is trying to do the same in BJP's territory. After Gujarat, it's Himachal Pradesh.

"We are common people, we don't know how to do politics. Instead, we know how to work for people, build schools and end corruption. We have ended corruption in just 20 days in Punjab since Bhagwant Mann became the chief minister. Now, 'kranti' should happen in Himachal Pradesh too," Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal said addressing the gathering.

If AAP can increase its footprint in other states then it can emerge as a big national party and take up the position of the main opposition from the grand old Congress party. The decline of the Congress party is also helping AAP in a way. Talking about Punjab, Congress is not in a good position and farmers are not happy with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The AAP had hit the bull's eye in this issue and had managed to win the elections and form the government in Punjab. The Delhi-based Aam Aadmi Party is trying to do the same. However, the party might have a tough time given the prime form of the BJP in many states.
