Firebrand leader from Telangana Revanth Reddy is keeping his attack against the drug menace. Apart from this, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee is also trying to prove a point that the ruling TRS is saving the accused in the issue. Earlier, he had approached the High Court on the 2016 Tollywood Drugs Case.
If not for Revanth Reddy's fight in the 2016 drugs case, people would have forgotten the issue by now. But his fight gave the required momentum to make it the much-talked-about issue. Now Rrevanth Reddy had his eyes on another key issue.
Revanth Reddy had knocked on the doors of the High Court over the recent rave party at Pudding & Mink pub. In his petition, Revanth Reddy had raised a doubt that the accused people who were nabbed at the time of busting the racket might have consumed drugs and to know the reality behind this, they need to be questioned.
Revanth Reddy had alleged that the people of big shots and celebrities might have taken drugs and this angle should be investigated thoroughly. He sought directives from the High Court to transfer the case to central agencies for a fair probe and investigation.
Looks like Revanth Reddy is not in a mood to leave the drugs cases in the state to prove the alleged support given by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi to the accused. His fight against TRS and KTR is giving sleepless nights to Tollywood as people will now talk about the issue more
Earlier, TRS leaders alleged that some political leaders including Revanth Reddy's kids were taken into police custody but were released later. Hitting back at the TRS leaders, Revanth Reddy shot a dare that he would bring his children for drug tests and asked the TRS leaders to do the same.
