Mithali Raj receives BMW as a Gift

Hyderabad Badminton Association President V Chamundeswaranath gifted a BMW car to Indian Women's Cricket Team skipper Mithali Raj on Tuesday in appreciation for leading from the front in taking the Team to the finals of ICC Women's World Cup. India lost to England by 9 runs in the World Cup 2017 final last month.
The last time Chamundeswaranath offered an expensive gift (Chevrolet Car) to Mithali Raj was when Women's Team entered final of ICC Women's World Cup in 2005. 'Chamundeswaranath is the one whom a sportsperson can count on for support and encouragement. This is the second time he gifted me a car. He also offered me many cricket bats and I had scored many runs with them'.
This isn't the first time Chamundeswaranath has felicitated a sportsperson. Post Rio Olympics, He offered BMWs to PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, Dipa Karmarkar and Pullela Gopichand.
