YSR Congress MP arrested

YSR Congress MP Mithun Reddy was arrested at the Chennai airport on Sunday morning on charges of assaulting an Air India Official in November last year.
After the arrest at around 2 AM, Mithun Reddy was produced before the Magistrate in Srikalahasti. He was sent to 14 days judicial custody. Later, Police took him to Nellore sub-jail.
Few months ago, Mithun Reddy slapped Air India manager Rajasekhar after a heated argument over not allowing his kin to board the flight after the scheduled time.
Police have taken ample precautionary measures since Saturday evening to ensure no untoward incidents happen following the arrest of Mithun Reddy. Few YCP MLAs were house arrested, 144 Section has been imposed in Chittoor, several YSRC Leaders & Workers were taken into custody.
