Rs 1 crore Defamation Case against Roja

The verbal spat between Ruling & Opposition Leaders during the last Assembly sessions has come under criticism for the objectionable behaviour of few public representatives. YSR Congress MLA RK Roja made some controversial comments about TDP legislator Anitha's personal life in the House.
Payakaraopet MLA Anitha broke down in the Assembly while speaking about the attempts of Roja to malign her image in public with remarks on her marital life. The Public Representative accused Jagan of not even cautioning his party leaders when they cross the line. She even demanded Speaker to suspend Roja from Assembly for the entire term, till 2019.
Finally, Anitha filed a defamation case against Roja and notices were sent to the Nagari MLA in this regard. The Ruling Party leader demanded Rs 1 crore as compensation for the disturbing remarks made against her.
