MLA's Brother Selected as Beneficiary of Dalit Bandhu Scheme!
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 March 2022 1:09 PM GMTAs a historic decision, Telangana CM KCR had brought a key scheme to benefit the Dalit community. The scheme aims at lending a helping hand to the community by providing a sum of Rs 10 lakhs per family. The scheme was started as a pilot project in Huzurabad and it is applicable across the state.
Though the scheme has good intentions, there are a few controversies surrounding the scheme saying that few people are using their influence to get the scheme despite being in a good position.
Adding fuel to this controversy, an MLA's brother was selected as one of the beneficiaries of the scheme. This made many wonder how the MLA's brother can get such a scheme that was brought to benefit the poor in the community.
Going into detail, Station Ghanpur MLA Dr. Thatikonda Rajaiah's brother, Thatikonda Suresh Kumar was picked for the scheme. Another shocking thing is that the MLA's brother is serving as a sarpanch.
This incident had only taken the alleged allegations that the relatives and close aides of the legislators in the state are getting preferences in the Dalit Bandhu scheme despite the fact that the main attention behind bringing the scheme was brought to benefit the Dalit Community.
