MLA Golla Babu Rao meets Sajjala, vents his ire
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 April 2022 10:08 AM GMTPayakaraopet MLA Golla Babu Rao is unhappy and angry. He is livid at the YSRCP leadership, which has ignored his seniority and loyalty and made a junior politician minister. Deeply upset, he has gone all the way to Tadepalli along with his supporters demanding to know why he was ignored and sidelined in the cabinet rejig.
Babu Rao told CM YS Jagan's advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy that he would not tolerate the ‘insults' to the loyal party cadre. He said that he would take up cudgels on their behalf. This is being seen as an indirect indication that he is not going to take things lying down. He is going to make his displeasure felt by the powers that be.
Even the YSRCP top leadership, it appears, has no answers to the questions raised by Babu Rao. Normally, Babu Rao should be at the top of the list of ministerial probables. But, his candidature has been ignored. The party's leadership is said to be looking at ways and means to assuage his feelings.
Babu Rao was the ZP CEO before entering politics. A highly educated person from the SC community, he joined politics and won from Payakaraopet thrice. In 2019, he won with a thumping majority. However, now he is finding that the party leadership has ignored his claims and made Gudivada Amarnath, who is much junior to him, a minister.
