MLA in shock after Daughter suicide

Bommanahalli MLA Sathish Reddy's daughter Gagana committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Hongasandra, Bangalore. The 17-year-old is the elder daughter of the legislator and she is a student of Christ College.
On Thursday, Gagana had a quarrel with her younger sister Meghana over watching TV. Seeing them fighting, their mother Asha scolded Gagana and took Meghana to another room. After sometime, Asha called Gagana to have dinner but she didn't come down. When she knocked the door of the room on first floor, there was no response from inside and she immediately alerted the family members. MLA and few others broke the door to find Gagana hanging from the ceiling fan. They found she was still breathing and rushed to the hospital. While undergoing treatment she died at around 10:30 pm. After the postmortem, the girl was cremated at the MLA's farmhouse.
MLA Sathish Reddy was in a shock ever since his daughter breathed her last and not talking to anyone. Close sources to the family say it takes time for the MLA to recover from this big loss.
