MLA Performs Lavish Wedding For Son, Turns Positive

A political biggie who ignored the basic rules of social distancing has now landed not just himself in trouble, but all those who were close to him. He now faces cases for flouting quarantine rules and also is under treatment for turning corona positive.
On June 15, Karnataka Congress MLA from Hadagali Prameshwar Naik organised the wedding of his son. Despite warnings, he made it a lavish affair and invited lot of friends and acquaintance. Former CM and Congress stalwart Siddaramaiah and Minister BSR Ramulu too were among the guests who attended the wedding. None wore masks and thousands gathered in groups at the venue. Later, the district collector took a serious view of the incident and booked a case against the MLA and several others. Now, it turns out that MLA Parameshwar himself has tested positive for Corona. He has now been admitted to a medical facility and is now under treatment.
The worst part of the whole sordid saga is that no one is showing any sympathy for the MLA. The people are questioning his decision to perform the function so lavishly and invite so many guests. As for his family, all of them are under quarantine and are living in fear of turning positive.
