MLA Sweeps Roads, Sups With Sanitation Workers

In a pleasant shock to the sanitation workers engaged in fighting Corona virus , the MLA not just worked with them, but also partook meals with them. The incident occurred in Tirupati and the MLA who supped with the sanitation workers is none other than Bhumana Karunakar Reddy.
On Sunday, Bhumana joined the sanitation workers in their work. He wore Khakis and moved along the lanes and bylanes of Tirupati and cleaned the roads. He also sprinkled bleaching powder and other disinfectants. Later, he sat with them and had his meals with them. Speaking on the occasion, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy lauded the services of the sanitation workers and said that they were doing yeoman services in times of Corona. He said that sanitation was a key element in fighting the deadly virus.
The MLA has also inspected the temporary vegetable markets set up in various parts of the city. He said that the temporary markets were helping in decluttering the people and were helping in preventing the spread of Corona. He also said that few more such markets would be set up in Tirupati.
