12 Congress & 2 JD (S) MLAs Goes Missing
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 May 2018 9:38 AM GMTBS Yeddyurappa submitted a Letter to Karnataka Governor to allow him form the Government though BJP fell short of magic figure by 8 seats. What does that indicate? Did the Saffron Party influence the Congress and JD (S) MLAs to shift loyalties?
12 MLAs of Congress and 2 MLAs of JD (S) skipped the meetings organized by their Party Leadership after the election results were announced. Only 66 out of 78 Congress MLAs attended KPCC Meeting at Queens Road. For JD (S) Legislative Party Meeting on Wednesday morning, MLAs Raja Venkatappa Nayak and Venkata Rao had given a miss.
JD (S) Chief Secretary Danish Ali opined Governor should invite JD (S) and Congress to form the Government as they have enough numbers. 'If BJP blackmails Governor and pressurizes him, Then it's like killing the Democracy,' he says.
Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad accused BJP of threatening his party MLAs and trying to lure them with hundreds of crores. He condemned the reports that Congress MLAs are keen to join BJP.
