Gandhi's Rs 10 Crore Election Expenditure

Money has become a top priority in elections these days and the situation is such that voters have been demanding money to vote at many parts of the nation.
Karnataka MLC CM Ibrahim made sensational comments on the election expenditure. He expressed the view that even Mahatma Gandhi has to bribe voters if he contest elections now. 'Unfortunately, Democracy is getting costly day-by-day. An MLA Candidate has to spend at least Rs 10 crore. The situation will be no different even if it's Mahatma Gandhi,' he told.
Ibrahim complained, 'People aren't giving much importance to the welfare schemes implemented by the Government. Instead, They are keen to accept the bribe offered at the time of elections'.
There is nothing wrong in the views expressed by Ibrahim. He just spoke what's happening in reality. How could someone who wishes to serve the people sincerely spend Rs 10 crore? It's high time public realizes their mistakes and choose the Leaders who resolves their issues.
