Modi breaks protocol to greet Israeli PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn't mind following the protocol when his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu visited India on Sunday.
Netanyahu arrived in New Delhi along with his wife Sara and Israeli delegation for a historic 6-day visit. Modi went all the way to receive the Israel PM. 'Welcome to India, my friend PM @netanyahu! Your visit to India is historic and special. It will further cement the close friendship between our nations,' he Tweeted.
The Israel PM thanked his good friend Narendra Modi for the warm welcome. He said the gesture of Indian PM has really surprised him.
When Modi visited Israel last year, Netanyahu has received Indian PM at the airport in a similar manner.
India and Israel are strengthening ties by mutual cooperation in trade, economic, security and tourism.
