Why Modi Called Up These Two Senior Most BJP Leaders In Telangana?

Senior BJP leaders â former minister Mandadi Satyanarayana Reddy and former MP Ch Janga Reddy â had a pleasant surprise when Prime Minister Modi himself called up them over telephone and enquired about their health. He advised them to take care of their health in view of the Corona crisis.
This is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's series of phone calls to BJP old-timers. He has been calling up leaders who have been with the party since the time of Jana Sangh. He also enquired about the political situation in the state and the measures being put in place by the State Government in containing Corona. While Janga Reddy explained about the role of the old-timers in the development of the party, Mandadi explained about the steps being taken by the state government in containing Corona. Later, Mandadi told the mediapersons that this is the second time that he got a call from the party's top leadership. Previously, he had gotten a call from Atal Bihari Vajpayee while the later was the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya too has been calling up senior leaders of the party in Telangana and gathered information about the status of Corona virus in various districts. He called up former Warangal rural president E Ashok Reddy and Warangal Urban president Ravu Padma also.
