Modi gets 9 th Place In Forbes List

Well known financial magazine Forbes announced an annual list of the world's most powerful people for this year. Russian president Vladimir Putin has topped Forbes' list of the Most Powerful People in the world. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Barack Obama gets in second and third place respectively.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who palced in 15 th place last year now gets 9th spot this year. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani is the other Indian to feature in the list. Ambani at #36 has retained his last year's position.
Satya Nadella and Lakshmi Mittal are other Indians in the list. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is still America's richest man, taking the sixth spot in the Forbes list
