Modi's picture on Vaccine certificate:Petitioner fined Rs 1 lakh!

A person who is not happy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's picture printed on the Covid vaccination certificate had moved the Kerala High Court seeking directives to remove the picture. The High Court had heard the petition on the vaccination picture row.
Hearing the petition, the Kerala High Court had dismissed the petition. While dismissing the petition, the High Court slapped the petitioner with a fine of Rs 1 lakh. The Court said that the petition was politically motivated and felt that the petitioner filed a childish plea.
While directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs 1 lakh as a penalty, the High Court granted him a tie of six weeks for the payment of the fine. As per the court orders, the petitioner was directed to pay the fine to the Kerala State Legal Services Authority.
Rubbishing the arguments of the petitioner that printing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's picture on the vaccination certificate goes against his fundamental rights, the High Court slammed the petitioner for wasting the court's time, PTI said.
