Why Modi touched the feet of 104-Year-Old?

Much to everyone's surprise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched the feet of a 104-Year-Old Woman at a recent event.
Kanvarbai, a resident of Kotabharri village in Dhamtari district of Chattisgarh, has become an inspiration for lakhs of people. Due to lack of toilet at home, The elderly woman had to continue mountain trek for years and deal with encounters with poisonous snakes/wild animals on the way. After the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan meeting in her village in 2015, She sold out 10 of her goats to get Rs 22,000 in cash for building two toilets at home.
The move by Kanvarbai has inspired 17 families in the village. All of them have enrolled for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Emplyment Guarantee Act (MNREGA). Its because of this reason Kanvarbai has become the brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat and Modi sought her blessings.
