Modi's silence sends TRS top brass into a tizzy
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 July 2022 5:33 AM GMTHas Prime Minister Narendra Modi succeeded in sowing confusion in the minds of the TRS honchos? It appears so. Modi studiously avoided mentioning the names of KCR or TRS during his speech at the Parade Grounds recently. Though he listed out the contribution of the Central government in the development of Telangana, he did not take the name of KCR or the TRS even once.
This complete ignoring is baffling the TRS rank and file. PM's silence and complete avoidance of joining the issue with KCR are being seen as a rebuff to the noisy and acrimonious criticism of Modi by the TRS. The party is now trying to decipher Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strategy of totally ignoring KCR.
Meanwhile, there were raids on TRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao's Madhucon Company. The ED sleuths attached assets worth Rs 96 crore. This sent shock waves in the TRS circles. There are speculations galore in the party about who could be the next target of the enforcement directorate in Telangana.
There is a buzz in the TRS circles about Modi's moves. Ministers and MLAs are said to be making enquiries about Modi's strategy for Telangana and especially for the TRS. Some TRS thinking heads feel that the TRS campaign of inviting Opposition's presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha on the same day when Modi landed in Hyderabad and strident attacks on Modi were actually counter productive.
