Why ANR & Dasari were at loggerheads?

Many classics were made in the combination of Akkineni Nageswara Rao & Dasari Narayana Rao. Some of the biggest hits in ANR's career such as 'Megha Sandesam' & 'Premabhishekam' were directed by Dasari.
Akkineni once confessed that he would have sold out Annapurna Studios if 'Premabhishekam' wasn't successful. Even Dasari had claimed he entered into Industry as a fan of ANR and admires his acting prowess a lot. Such Individuals were at loggerheads with each other for several years. This has gone to the extent that they even stopped talking to each other.
Mohan Babu now disclosed that rift between ANR & Dasari is just because of a small amount. He claims to have thought of uniting them but things didn't fall in place. 'Though I knew the reason behind the clash, It's not fair to talk about it now as both of them aren't alive. But, I can say that it happened because of a small amount,' he said.
