Even elderly might be able to visit Tirumala without stress with Monorail!

Keeping the traditional respect that the area deserves alive according to Agama Sastra, TTD is looking to come up with light metro rail and mono rail projects.
Also, they have ropeway plans as well. Chairperson YV Subba Reddy met with Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director, SNV Reddy about this project proposal and viability.
Without having to dig any tunnels in the seven hills, the TTD officials have plans to construct Monorails on the established pathways.
They want to bring this projects into existence as it will help even the elderly to climb the distance without having to undergo stress of road travel and monorail will be a quicker option for them too.
If this increases the number of devotees coming to the temple, TTD wants to improve facilities for them to stay or quickly leave from the place after darshan, from the temple without over-crowding already crowded place.
