108 AP Capital Farmers change their mind!

AP Government decided to use Land Acquisition Act against the farmers who were unwilling to offer their lands for the proposed new capital. While a Land Acquisition notification was issued on Friday, Another such notification will be issued on Saturday as well.
The fear of losing their farms and the benefits of Land Pooling if Land Acquisition Act is implemented in CRDA is now prompting the reluctant Farmers change their mind. As many as 108 Farmers have come forward in the last minute to handover 123 acres of land to the TDP Government.
Once Land Acquisition Act is implemented, Farmers could receive nothing other than a minimal package. On the other hand, Farmers who took part in Land Polling can enjoy lucrative package which includes yearly income around Rs 35,000, monthly pension of 2,500 for families without houses and a part of developed land after completion of construction works.
