Porn Site Link Appearing On SVBC Channel Irks Devotees!

The Bhakthi channel of TTD, Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel(SVBC) once again made it to the headlines for a bad reason, after an obscene link surfaced in the Bhakti Channel.
Reports claimed that a devotee sent an e-mail to get details about the 'Shatamana Bhavati' program. To his surprise, he received a link of a porn site from the SVBC employee.
Shatamanam Bhavati Program is a program that enables the devotees to wish their loved ones on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. For this, the devotees have to send their details and photos to the channel.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) trust authorities took serious note of porn site appearing on the channel and called for a comprehensive inquiry into the stir caused by the link.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, the vigilance, cybercrime, and EDP officials have identified not less than 25 staff members of SVBC including the employee who sent the porn site link to the devotee who were watching porn sites.
Back in January 2020. the SVBC came under the bad light fayre the then Channel chairman Pruthviraj after an alleged audiotape of him talking to a woman employee created a stir. Following which he had to resign from the post.
