India - 4th Most Terror Affected Country!

India stands only next to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan in the list of Most Terror-Affected Countries. The Maoists in the country have been declared as the 4th Deadliest Terror Group in the World. As per the report, About 791 Attacks (43% of total attacks in the country) were carried out by Naxalites.
In 2015, Overall 11,774 Terror Attacks took place across the World. While 28,328 people were killed in these attacks, 35,320 people sustained injuries.
Taliban, Islamic State and Boko Haram are the three deadliest Terror Organisations in the World. Taliban is behind 1,093 attacks and killed 4,512 people. While Islamic State killed 6,050 people in 931 strikes, Boko Haram killed 5,450 people in 491 attacks.
CPI (Maoist) which carried out 343 attacks and 176 people last year occupies the fourth spot. Whereas, Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) is at No.5 with 238 attacks in which 287 people were killed.
