Mother And Her Newborn Baby Succumbs To COVID-19

Going into detail, the woman in her 20's who hails from the Gadwal district of Telangana lost her life on the night of Monday, while her new-born baby boy died of the respiratory problems on Sunday.
After getting to know about the sad incident, the State Human Rights Commission asked the state Health and Family Welfare Department to submit a detailed report in this regard.
Talking about this, the husband of the woman, said that the negligence and the delay in providing the treatment are to be blamed for the sad occurrence. He said that she was admitted to the Gadwal town hospital after she developed labor pains.
As a result, she was rushed to the Petla Burj government maternity hospital and delivered a baby boy on the 26th of April. Due to the respiratory problems, the newborn was shifted to Niloufer Hospital where he breathed the last breath.
