Gutta Jwala donates 3 Times more than Sania Mirza

Telangana Jagruti, an apolitical organization, headed by Nizamabad MP K Kavitha launched an initiative to adopt families of the farmers who committed suicide. Over 80 families have been adopted till date and they will be offered a financial assistance Rs 5,000 per month. Plans were afoot to adopt many more farmer families in the coming months.
Gutta Jwala came forward to donate Rs 10 lakh and appealed people to do whatever they can to help he distressed farmer families.
Telangana brand ambassador Sania Mirza donated Rs 3 lakhs. The Tennis Star's Mother Naseema Mirza handed over the cheque to the TRS MP.
Cricketer Pragyan Ohja contributed Rs 2 lakh of his hard-earned money for the good cause.
As per the Government records, 430 Farmers committed suicide in the past one year. Out of them 141 families are eligible for ex-gratia based on Government's criteria. Opposition Parties, however, alleges count of suicides have surpassed 1,000 in Telangana.
