The Man Who Arrested Advani Gets Ministry Again

Raj Kumar Singh, who was serving as the District Magistrate of Samastipur in 1990, received the task of issuing arrest warrant against LK Advani who's Rath Yatra reached Bihar on it's way to the Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh from Somnath in Gujarat.
This Bureaucrat-turned-Politician was inducted into Narendra Modi Cabinet on Thursday. He is a two-time MP from Arrah Constituency in Bihar.
Apparently, Raj Kumar Singh played a key role in the launch of NDA Government's Soubhagya Scheme which is meant for household electrification. He was appointed as the Minister of State for Power and Renewable Energy in the 2017. Once again, He attained the placement in the Modi Cabinet.
Over 2.5 crore families received electricity connections under Soubhagya Scheme in NDA-1. Modi decided to give Raj Kumar Singh another opportunity after the good work done by him in the first term.
