Dhoni compares himself to WINE
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 July 2017 10:05 AM GMTMahendra Singh Dhoni describes himself as a vintage vine which only gets better with the passing of time. He made this comment while accepting the Man-of-the-Match award for his unbeaten 78 off 79 balls in 3rd ODI against West Indies.
Batting First, India has a bad start. It was Rahane & Dhoni who built a solid partnership after losing Dhawan, Kohli & Yuvraj. In the end, Kedar Jadhav finished it in style (40 runs off 26 balls) and helped India post a total of 251. India won the match by 93 runs as West Indies collapsed for 150-odd runs.
In the post-match presentation, Dhoni was asked how does the aging affect him & Mr.Cool replied: 'It's like wine, getting better with age'.
Dhoni opined Middle-Order isn't getting much of the opportunity as Top Order has been scoring well in the past one-and-a-half year. He opined Kedar Jadhav batted well & Kuldeep Yadav is improving with each game at the international level.
India lead the 5-match ODI Series 2-0. The 4th ODI will also be at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Sunday. Left-Hander Batsman Rishabh Pant might get an opportunity in the next two ODIs.
