Why Mudragada delayed Padayatra till Dec 6th?
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 Aug 2017 6:03 AM GMTKapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham decided to delay his 'Chalo Amaravati' padayatra till December 6th this year.
After the meeting with JAC Leaders at Kirlampudi in East Godavari, Mudragada said such a decision was taken because AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has given an assurance that resolution providing BC Status to Kapus will be passed in the Assembly. 'We decided to offer 3 months time to State Government for passing Resolution in Assembly and forward it to the Centre for making necessary amendment to provide reservation for Kapus. The issue should be resolved by December 6th,' he told.
Mudragada found fault with TDP Government for not allowing him to conduct 'Chalo Amaravati' though he had given assurance that it will be a peaceful protest. He objected Cops asking women who took part in his rally to visit police station and offer their statement. He even advised CM not to trust the false reports of Intelligence Bureau.
