Demand for Babu & Lokesh's Indefinite Fast

Kapu JAC Leader Mudragada Padmanabham demanded AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh to take up fast-unto-death for achieving Special Category Status. 'Jayalalithaa launched indefinite fast for the welfare of Tamil Nadu. Similarly, Babu & Lokesh to take up fast for Special Status. I am willing to join the deeksha if they both allow me,' he said.
Mudragada pointed out that Polavaram Project and Special Status can't be linked. 'Polavaram was declared as National Project and it was included in AP Reorganization Act 2014 as well. Is it fair to include Polavaram Project in Special Package? How could CM say Polavaram project will be stalled if pressure was mounted on Centre?,' questioned the Kapu Leader, accusing CM Chandrababu Naidu of suppressing the Special Category Status movement.
The Former Minister reiterated that he would continue his fight for Kapu Reservation. He also claimed to be willing face enquiry if Cops doubt his role in Tuni violence.
