Mudragada Padmanabham wrote a letter to DGP Sambasiva Rao demanding on what basis police department has sought permission for his Satyagraha Padayatra. 'Whether Chandrababu or other Leaders who launched padayatras in the past sought prior permissions? Why Government is demanding permission from me alone? Why cases weren't booked against Chandrababu and his family members who are responsible for the death of 30 people during Godavari Pushkarams?,' he questioned.
The Former Minister promised to sell his properties and compensate the loss if Government is able to prove the allegations made against Kapu Community in Tuni incident. 'Will Section 30 be implemented forever in Godavari districts? Or else, Will it continue till 2019 polls?,' asks the Kapu Leader.
Apparently, Mudragada planned to launch Sathyagraha Padayatra at Ravulapalem on November 16th. However, State Government foiled his plans with house arrest. Section 30 and Section 144 has been imposed. Police & CRPF personnel have been deployed in big numbers. TDP Government didn't permit padayatra even though High Court has responded positively to Mudragada's appeal.
