Indiaâs Richest Man jumped six positions to emerge as 13th Richest Person in the World. According to Forbes World Billionaire List, The wealth of Ambani soared from $40.1 billion in 2018 (19th Richest in the World) to $50 billion in 2019.
The 61-Year-Old is the chairman of $60 billion worth Reliance Industries which is into oil and gas business. And Jio managed to get 280 million subscribers with free voice calls and data services at lowest prices.
Wipro Chairman Azim Premji stood at 36th position with a wealth of $22.6 billion. HCL's Co-Founder Shiv Nadar and Arcelor Mittal CEO Lakshmi Mittal are at 82nd and 91st Places respectively in the Top 100 Billionaires in the World.
As many as 106 Billionaires are in India. Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos continues to remain World's Richest with a net worth of $131 billion. While Bill Gates is ranked 2 for having $96.5 billion wealth, Warren Buffet emerged 3rd with $82.5 billion. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg slipped to 8th position by losing $9 billion in an year.
