'Media wants Mumaith Khan, Not Abdul Kalam'
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 July 2017 10:30 AM GMTMusic Composer-turned-Director RP Patnaik made the movie 'Manalo Okadu' exposing the dark side of Media. He now targeted the Electronic media directly for it's over-enthusiastic approach in handling the drug racket case.
On Thursday, Interrogation of Mumaith Khan by SIT overshadowed the inauguration of former President & renowned Scientist late APJ Abdul Kalam memorial at Rameswaram. RP Patnaik blamed Media for such a pathetic situation which arised because of craving for sensationalism. He accused Media of making Younger Generation clueless about great people for offering more coverage to Mumaith Khan than Abdul Kalam.
RP Patnaik asked how Media is able to get information regarding the questions asked during the interrogation of Celebs. 'SIT warned Celebs who attended interrogation not to disclose anything. Why don't SIT warn Media Houses not to speculate & take appropriate action against those spreading rumours? In case if the information reported by Media is true, Who is leaking the confidential information to them? Isn't it a punishable offense,' he questioned.
