Munugode By-Poll: Is He The TRS Candidate?

The political heat in Telangana increased at once with the Munugode by poll. The Assembly constituency will see a by-poll soon and the political parties in the state have taken the polls seriously. Looking at various aspects, the parties kept themselves busy in finalizing the candidate for the forthcoming polls.
The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi is a few steps ahead compared to other parties and reportedly concluded that Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy should be given an opportunity to run the polls. CM KCR is likely to announce his name as the candidate at an event that would be held in a few days.
It is a daring move to pick the MPTC for the crucial polls as the local leaders are against him. At a recent meeting, MPPs, ZPTCs, and MPTC Sarpanchs came to a common decision that they should not support Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy due to his nature of troubling others.
Not just that, the local leaders sent this message to the TRS leadership as well. The leaders reported said that they will not support him if he gets a party ticket and they will not support him. They even reportedly maintained that they will support any other leader other than Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy.
However, the MPTC gave his best in coming into the good books of the TRS leadership. His efforts are said to have worked and the TRS leadership decided that Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy could be an ideal candidate despite the local leaders being against him.
