TDP Government has compromised on Special Category Status & it's been seen as the biggest failure of Ruling Party in 3 years rule. Even Main Opposition appears to have given up hope on Special Status. YSR Congress extending support to NDA Presidential Candidate sends such an indication. Unfortunately, Two Leading Political Parties in AP have reached a conclusion that Special Status is a closed chapter.
An interview given to News Channel by Rajahmundry MP Murali Mohan gave an indication that TDP failed to mount pressure on Centre for achieving Special Category Status.
When quizzed why didn't TDP pressurize Centre for Special Category Status, Murali Mohan replied: 'BJP have absolute majority. If we try to threaten them with resignations, They are ready to say - Do as you like! Can we resign in such a situation'.
Once again, Our Leaders have proved that they are concerned about their posts rather than people's welfare.
