Chandrababu always shoots from other's shoulders. To win elections, he uses some party or the other as a prop. This has been his wont for the past so many decades. He has never contested alone and won on his own strength. So, political circles are watching with lot of interest as to who would be his prop this time around. His Man Friday and TDP MP Maganti Muralimohan has given a leak as to who would his party join hands with in Telangana, where the party is down and out.
It is almost certain that he would align with TRS, which is going great guns in Telangana. This is the only party that can help the TDP survive in Telangana. To gauge the public mood, Chandrababu is known to give selective leaksabout his decisions. So, to know the public pulse, he perhaps asked his MP Murali Mohan to publicly suggest that the TDP should have a poll pact with the TRS. Once this statement goes into the public, Chandrababu would guage the public mood and take a final decision.

The Congress leaders are going home telling the people that they will fight the elections in association with the TDP and the TDP is not denying it. This has given rise to deep resentment among the people in AP. So, Chandrababu now wants to guage the public opinion about a possible alliance with the TRS in Telangana.
