YS Jaganmohan Reddy moved a petition in Hyderabad High Court seeking orders for an Independent Agency to carry out the investigation of the murder attempt case. He accused AP Police of completely neglecting the conspiracy angle in the murder attempt. Names of as many as 8 People including CM Chandrababu Naidu, AP DGP, Principal Secretary, SIT In-charge ACP and Airport PS SHO have been mentioned in the petition. This writ petition would come up for hearing on Thursday.
YCP Chief maintained he took up Praja Sankalpa Yatra to expose the failures of TDP Government. He told, ''Operation Garuda' is a drama enacted to spread bad propaganda that Centre conspired to end TDP rule. TDP Sympathiser Shivaji is the key man involved in this conspiracy. Shivaji mentioned that murder attempt will happen against Me. Attack on Me at the Visakha Airport confirms the conspiracy to project it as a part of 'Operation Garuda''.
Jagan pointed out AP DGP holding a press meet within an hour after the attack and describing the whole incident as a publicity stunt of the Accused. He accused AP CM of behaving irresponsibly when Opposition Leader was attacked and campaigning that accused is a YCP Fan using a flexi. YCP Supremo mentioned about the changes in hand-writing on 11-page letter of the accused. He alleged AP CM and DGP behaved as if they are trying to hide/downplay the murder attempt.
