Till now we had observed the trend in south films that heroes are turning as singers and writers are becoming as directors.Now the new trend is creeping into South films that music directors are turning as heroes.
Young and talented music director GV Prakash is all set to become a hero. The latest buzz in the film industry is that young music director GV Prakash has been approached by filmmaker A R Murugadoss, to act under his home production banner.If sources are to be believed, the film is about music and will be directed by Nagaraj
Prakash will be seen as a school going student in the film named Pencil where in Priya Anand will be his female companion.G.V will be on double duty for this film as he takes up the task of music department as well.Pencil is expected to go on floors early next month
Otherside,GV recently married singer Saindhavi And he scored music for many Telugu films like Ullasamgaa Utsahamgaa, Darling, Endukante Premanta etc.The actor recently did a cameo in a song for Vijays Thalaivaa but this film will launch him in a full fledged role. Pencil will be directed by Mani Nagaraj, a former associate of Gautham Vasudev Menon.
