Its known that centenary celebrations of Indian cinema was held in chennai in a grand manner.Many of the high profile guests witnessed the event from all south industries.

And here is the dark side of the celebrations and surprisingly many of the noted tollywood folks were not invited for the event.

The event turned out to be a big disappointment for several Tollywood senior actors. We have recently seen veteran actress Kavitha literally broke down before media for not being invited. Now one more noted music director burst out for not being invited .

Music director turned director R P Patanaik was not invited to take part on 100 years celebrations and RP released below letter to express his anguish.

RP PatnaikÂ’s open letter:

“Please let me know the reason which forced you people to not invite me .May I know what is the eligibility required to get an invitation to attend 100 years celebration .I got to know that there are 600 people participating from Telugu cinema. Are you sure I’m not supposed to be among those in the list?

1. IÂ’m the voluntary President of Cine Musicians Union

2.I am the Member of the AP Film Chamber

3. I am the Member of the AP Directors Union

4. I served 40 films a music director, 4 films as a writer Director, 3 films as an actor, nearly 200 films as a singer.

5. IÂ’m a Singer, Music Director, Actor, Writer, Director and Producer.

6. Worked with almost all the major production houses and big Heroes.

7. I had won the state govt. Nandi award 3 times as a Music Director and Writer.

8. My film Broker was short listed for the Finals in the National Awards from TFI for the year 2010.

9. Above all, dedicated my total life only for the cinema.”
