Beware Jihadists, Maoists In Student Activism: Finance Minister

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the jihadists, Maoists and separatists were behind the violent clashes in the country's capital.
Sitharaman, however, said that she was not aware of the events at New Delhi's Jamia Milia Islamia University over the weekend. On Monday while speaking to reporters she said that citizens should be wary of "jihadists, Maoists and separatists" getting into student activism.
Students of Jamia Millia Islamia University in the country's capital have been holding demonstrations for several days in protest of the Citizenship Amendment Act. On Sunday Many protesters burned the buses but Jamia Millia students have also declared that they are not responsible for these actions.
